Bissell 3-way

My new favorite toy is my Bissell 3-way bagless vacuum. It’s similar to a sweeper with more power.
I mostly have wood floors and throw rugs, but with two dogs there is a lot of loose fur and small debris. The vacuum is strong enough to pick up most items on my floor and is light weight and easy to manage. It also has detachable floor attachment which helps to pick up larger items and gets into corners. The handle also detaches to make it a hand-vac. The canister comes apart to empty.
So far no complaints about the inexpensive Bissell.

Kate Winslet’s Ass Is Real…And Sadly, So’s The Fur

Man, Kate Winslet does something nice for the world—like laying her fine, naked body on a rug for everyone to see—and all she gets is shit.  First, everyone was up in arms over whether her impressive ass had been retouched (which Winslet adamantly denies). Now PETA has observed that Winslet is dry humping a throw rug made from six silver foxes. Should the perennial Oscar nominee get ready for a bucket of blood at her next red carpet? In an attempt to avoid controversy, Winslet is blaming pho

Watch Your Back!

In reply to The Walls Have Eyes: 1908: Notice how the room seems to follow you around the room. The throw rug in the foreground appears to be a leopard seal, although it could be a rare Biting Quesadilla. [So your rooms follow you around too? Make them stop! Make them stop! - Dave]

Best. Piano. Cover. Ever.

In reply to The Walls Have Eyes: 1908: Topped only barely by the flattened sea turtle corpse throw rug. Or is that a walrus or sea lion?

A Week of Nana - day one

Cindy from Bug and Pop has come up with a great theme for this week...... A Week of Nana...When my nana died a few years back, I received her electric recliner chair. It lives in my loungeroom, in front of the bookcase. The original fabric is not very attractive, so I have it covered with a nice throw rug that I found at the oppy years ago. When you take the throw rug away, you can see the colour that nana used in her hair.... it's somewhere between blue and purple. I think that's the most specia

finishing mum's work #3

Mum was making this throw rug for herself to use on cool evenings, as she sat by the fire. Actually, she was more likely to be found lying by the fire. Stretched out across the floor, just like a cat... which I always found to be a little bit ironic, since she was really not a fan of felines.Colour choices were always a big deal to Mum. Things had to match in just the right way. So when we went shopping for the yarn, she took along a cushion from the lounge room - so that the colours could be ma
