Kroger Private Selection Spring Rolls
I’ve tried a few of the Private Selection products which I’m guessing are supposed to be of higher quality than their other products. I haven’t been impressed until I tried the frozen Spring Rolls.
They were 3.99 a box for about 10 rolls, plus peanut sauce at my local store. They were excellent and flavorful. I will purchase them again.

Snow flakes!
We're getting a (very) few snow flurries over here in Blount Co. The thermometer says 33.3 degrees. Gotta run, need to get over to Kroger for some milk and bread, assuming the roads aren't already too bad. (P.S. Can someone remind me what it is we are supposed to do with all that milk and bread when it snows?) KnoxViews

Mass Meets Class for Artisanal Cheeses
Mass Meets Class for Artisanal Cheeses By Jennifer 8. Lee Kroger is partnering with Murray’s Cheese in Greenwich Village to introduce artisan cheeses in its supermarkets. The first Murray’s Cheese-branded section opened this week in a Kroger store in Cincinnati. (Photo: Jim Callaway) It’s the grocery-store equivalent of Daimler’s partnership with Chrysler or Morgan Stanley’s merger with Dean Witter — though perhaps this venture will prove more successful than those mass-meets-class combinat
‘Put down Guitar Hero’ says Nickelback frontman
Chad Kroger comments come from the idea that there are not as many bands as there used to be. “It’s tough to find other bands out there, because either they’re making a record, or they just got done touring. So kids: Start rock bands. Set down the Guitar Hero, learn how to play an actual guitar and start a band, because it’s hard to find more bands to put a solid rock-and-roll package together, to get out there.” Chad Kroger how about you put down your Guitar or start making better music. I guess even the bartender needs a good, stiff drink once in a while. The aisles were full tonight at Kroger - people stocking up on frozen dinners (fyi: Lean Cuisine, Smart Ones and Healthy Choice are all running at about the same price point, all save for the el cheapo, lower end HC meals - $1.69), Thanksgiving dinner ingredients and jugs of milk for tomorrow's cereal. I was on a mission to find my fixings for lunch, casing the shelves for something ambiguous and insignificant. Tuna salad? N
