Caribou Coffee bars

While looking for the perfect snack, I came across a new granola bar. My husband can’t have nuts, so I have to be careful what I buy in the form of granola.
The product I found is by General Mills called “Caribou Coffee” granola bars. I bought the Chocolate Mocha flavored bars. They advertised a good source of whole grain and calcium. There were six bars to the box at $2.32. 140 calories and 3.5g fat per bar.
I really liked them as I could definitely taste the coffee. They reminded me of a mocha cookie my Mom used to make. [...]

Nabisco Oreo 100 Calorie Packs

I found Nabisco Oreo 100 Calorie Packs very disappointing.
The pack has six granola type bars. The bar was dry and flat tasting. And until I left it in the hot car was not a desirable texture.
I know they were supposed to be a smarter/healthier choice than regular cookies, but not a choice for me.

Prison bartering gets breath of fresh air after smoking ban

Somehow, the idea of prisoners bartering with granola bars doesn't have the same cachet.

Dear Tree Hugger,

LRBC Granola* We are now making and selling our own granola. While we've had a wonderful run with our friends at the lovely Crema Bakery (you and your granola we simply adore and you've never failed us, not once!), we are feeling ready to take on the pursuit of our own happiness-er- I mean granola. We scoured several recipes and played around with ingredients in our head plenty of times before finally making our first batch. Leave it to my dear and beloved sister to have the secret ingredient.

Food: It's What's for Dinner

Six Random Food Facts to Get You Through the Day Food needs texture. Orange juice needs pulp, soup needs crackers, and yogurt needs granola. I will fight you to the death over the last chocolate chunk in the mint chip ice cream, I will throw a fit if my mashed potatoes do not contain potato skin, and do not even think about serving me the Great Atrocity that is creamy peanut butter. Texture: It's Not a Privilege, It's a Right. Calm down on the fruit plates. Chocolate is better than fruit.
