Serta mattress and robe
In the last couple of weeks I purchased a Serta mattress set. With my purchase I received a coupon for a free robe. It only came in one size, but I didn’t care, so I sent in my coupon. I received my robe in less than three weeks. I have to say it’s the softest robe ever.
I’m very happy with my mattress purchase and the robe.

Simmons Beautyrest Skyrise Air Mattress
I purchased a Simmons Beautyrest Skyrise Air Mattress in queen size at Wal-Mart for a temporary bed solution.
I paid about $99 for the mattress, pump, and patch kit. We’ve now had the mattress inflated for about three weeks. It has maintained its initial level of air and comfort. I think it is more comfortable than the older bed we had been sleeping on. It has a velveteen like material on the top level of the mattress to add to the comfort and resist slippage. Its height is 24 inches inflated and it uses regular sheets for the size mattress [...]
well crap.
well crap. I just found out that Mr. A is leaving town at 5:30 tomorrow a.m. I mean, I knew he was leaving town, but it didn’t connect that I was going to have to do the early shift with the girls. I am not a morning person. Yes, this post is lame, but now I know I will be getting up at 5:30. I have to go to bed early. November 21st, 2008 | Category: Uncategorized | Comments Off

tan in bed
We all know that nowadays one do not need to spend a whole lot of time under the sun to get a nice tan. There is the luxury of a home tanning bed that does just that. A tanning bed is a more convenient way to have that beautiful tan , be it summer or winter time.
If you need me, I’m on the couch nodding off, because I stayed up too late last night
I was in bed last night, thinking about this and that and the other. And in between these thoughts I was turning my light on and off and on and off, and reading Everything I Knew by Peter Goldsworthy. And all of this led me to the thought, the realisation: I don’t know what I dreamed of becoming. I thought of myself on the school oval at lunchtime, or on the benchseat leaning against the wall, or walking from class to class. I thought of talking with my one very best friend, of gossiping wit
Rain isn’t going away soon
I will have to grin and bear it. It wasn’t that bad. At least that is what I kept telling myself. I got up this morning planning on doing my run right away but it was pouring out. I decided to just go back to bed. Watched 2 episodes of CSI and then got up and ready for work. On my way home from work it wasn’t raining, hard. So when I got home I put running clothes on and headed out the door. Whoops, it was pouring again. Got the vacuum out and vacuumed downstairs and looked out the window and
Went to the Wine and Cheese Reception at the Holiday Inn Express in Glen Rose Tonight
Not counting bed and breakfasts, there are 6 motels in town (one has yet to open, hope they also have a freebie food shindig!) One of them just opened, the Holiday Inn Express, and lured by freebie wine and cheese, we went. And took some pics. The place is prett.......
Today’s Totals - Nov 20th, 2008
The one thing I promised myself this time was that no matter if the days were good or bad, I would track them. That was my downfall the last (reasonable) attempt I made to lose weight. I would track on good days, and not on bad days. It meant when thing were working (or not working) I really couldn’t tell you why. So, not tracking wasn’t an option. The thing was that I could feel the almost inevitable slide last week. It started with not planning the next day’s meals before bed, eating a
The Godfather (1972) -vs- The Godfather, Part II (1974)
Vote Now: An Offer You Can't Refuse...The Smackdown. By now it's all become a part of our collective cultural memory -- the horse's head showing up in the bed, making an "offer he can't refuse" and that haunting score by Nino Rota. Imagine being in the theaters though, almost four decades ago when the original "The Godfather" was in release back in 1972. For years new viewers of the Godfather Trilogy were exposed to either increasingly degraded theatrical prints or VHS or DVD copies that
this beautiful girl
We have had a long day: Doctor visit, napless until evening, tantrums, horrendous poops, etc. I finally settled her into bed- our sleeping routine hasn't changed since weaning, except for her glorious lack of waking- and she rolled over, nuzzling her chin against my nose. "I hold you now, mama," she sighs. Her face quiets into a serenity that makes me think of Yoda, Buddha, and stoned hippies. Then my mind grows serious and reverent, watching this perfect tiny beauty. I'm in a blissful awe, thin
