Flat Earth
Using a coupon I tried a new product last week, “Flat Earth Apple Cinnamon Grove” crisps.
The description on the back doesn’t do it justice: A blend on rice, potato and apple. These are baked fruit crisps, the also advertise 1/2 serving of real fruit in every ounce. I thought they were tasty and let two teenage girls try them. The healthy eater out of the two liked them the other child said too much fruit.
I will purchase them again.

Rold Gold
My new favorite snack product is Rold Gold “Baked-In Flavor” pretzels.
For a 10oz bag I paid $2.49. From the nutritional information I can have about 8 pretzels for 120 calories and 2grams fat. They are flavorful, soft; but crunchy. I bought the garlic flavored pretzels.

Stacy’s Pita Chips
0g trans fat and 0mg Cholesterol , $2.00 for a 6oz bag of “Stacy’s Cinnamon Sugar” pita chips.
They are baked. I was looking for something that was lower in calories and fat that chips, but that texture. I thought they were good, husband didn’t like them, but it could’ve been more because it was a sweet snack.

Caribou Coffee bars
While looking for the perfect snack, I came across a new granola bar. My husband can’t have nuts, so I have to be careful what I buy in the form of granola.
The product I found is by General Mills called “Caribou Coffee” granola bars. I bought the Chocolate Mocha flavored bars. They advertised a good source of whole grain and calcium. There were six bars to the box at $2.32. 140 calories and 3.5g fat per bar.
I really liked them as I could definitely taste the coffee. They reminded me of a mocha cookie my Mom used to make. If you like mocha, I think you’d enjoy these.

Molli Coolz Ice Cream Beads
I guess this is a new product, it’s the first time I’ve seen it. Similar to “Dip n Dots”, this is an ice cream in bead form sold at the supermarket. It’s called “Molli Coolz!”. There are 4-2.5 oz individual packs within the box. I bought the banana split flavor which was great.
Their website www.mollicoolz.com also advertises Sour Cherry Blue Raz and Cookies and Cream. I think the box of 4 was about $3.60 and well packaged.
