Kroger Private Selection Spring Rolls
I’ve tried a few of the Private Selection products which I’m guessing are supposed to be of higher quality than their other products. I haven’t been impressed until I tried the frozen Spring Rolls.
They were 3.99 a box for about 10 rolls, plus peanut sauce at my local store. They were excellent and flavorful. I will purchase them again.

Progresso Light soups
I tried the Progresso Light Soups mostly because they were advertised to have “0″ Weight Watcher’s Points. I usually love Progresso’s Soups, but I couldn’t handle the light soups. I know you think “what did you expect for zero points?” I know I’m unrealistic, but gross. I’ll go back to regular soups or broth would’ve had more flavor.

Gourmet Dining Chicken Stir Fry
2lbs of Chicken Stir Fry by “Gourmet Dining”for $3.96 in the freezer section. The meal includes noodles, chicken, sauce, and vegetables.
I really enjoyed the meal. It was fast, easy, and cheap. I thought it was worth the money.

Fisherboy Fun Basket
24oz of fish sticks, popcorn shrimp, and crab bites for about $6.00.
The Fisherboy Fun Basket was well worth the money. It has 0g trans-fat. My husband and I both thought it was good portions and good taste; especially for the price.

Great Day Breakfast Kolaches
I consider myself a kolache connoisseur. Spoiled from my many years stopping at a meat market in Hillje, Texas called Praseks Smokehouse. On my way to Houston I would stop and get jalapeno cheese and sausage kolaches. I have since left the great state of Texas and miss that wonderful treat from the market.
Recently on a trip to Wal-Mart I saw a box labeled kolaches in the frozen food section. I had to try them. They are “Great Day Breakfast” Cheddar Jalapeno Kolaches. I paid around $2.50 for a box of 4 (8oz). I was sorely disappointed, but my husband said they were okay; especially if you didn’t have expectations on what you were getting. I thought the bread was too hard, and I didn’t pick up on much taste of cheese or jalapeno.
